Charges: Theft and Criminal Mischief 

Details: On December 27, 2023 Officer Zagacki responded to a Reed Rd address for a reported theft of metal roofing panels totaling approximately $1,500. The victim reported that this has been on ongoing issue with unidentified parties entering the property in search of materials to scrap. On January 2, 2023 Officer Gavdanovich was on patrol in the area when she observed a vehicle matching the description of the suspects involved entering the driveway of the property. When the vehicle left the property, Officer Gavdanovich conducted a motor vehicle stop on the suspect’s vehicle on Reed Road. Additional officers responded due to the potential for arrest on scene. The driver and occupant were identified as Erasom Blanco-Cusanera and Ausenico Gomez of Trenton. The suspects were arrested on scene and transported to police headquarters for processing. Both subjects were charged with Theft and Criminal Mischief. They were released from custody after processing and service of charges. The matter will be heard in Superior Court.

Details: On December 28, 2023 Officer Hunt met with the victim of identity theft in the Hopewell Township Police Lobby. The victim reported that they received a bill in the mail for an account which they did not open. The victim explained that he received a bill from AT&T, but stated that he is a Verizon Wireless account holder. The incident was reported to AT&T as a fraud and the victim was advised to monitor their credit and banking statements. The victim suffered no monetary loss due to the incident thus far.

Charges: Contempt of Court 

Details: On December 30, 2023 Officer Zagacki conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 546 on a 2 door white utility van for a motor vehicle violation. Officer Zagacki made contact with the driver, identified as a Delbinson Jimenezcolon who was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Cherry Hill Township Municipal Court for $1,000. Jimenezcolon was placed under arrest on scene and transported to HTPD for processing. Jimenezcolon was issued a new court date and released on his own recognizance. The matter will be heard in Municipal Court.

Details: On December 30, 2023 at 10:32 AM Officer Zagacki met with the victim of fraud / theft in the HTPD lobby. The victim reported that they found numerous fraudulent transactions on their Bank of American credit card account totaling $1,334.63. Upon further review, the transactions took place between 12/10/2023 and 12/28/2023 in jurisdictions in South New Jersey. The investigation is active. 


Item 5 

Date: 1/2/2024     Time: 9:32 AM     Jurisdiction – Hopewell Township 

Type of Incident: Criminal Mischief / Theft 
Investigating/Arresting Officer: Maria Gavdanovich 

Details: On January 2, 2024 Officer Gavdanovich responded to Bish Sales for a reported theft. Upon arrival, Officer Gavdanovich made contact with the victim who reported that two large containers on the property were broken into. The locks were cut on both containers and various landscaping equipment was stolen from inside each trailer. The total amount lost during the theft was estimated as $10,295. The investigation is ongoing.

Charges: Contempt of Court 

Details: On January 2, 2024 Officer Peterson conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 546 on a white 2011 Volkswagon Jetta for a motor vehicle infraction. Officer Peterson made contact with the driver, identified as Charles Shukis, who was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Monroe Township. Shukis was placed under arrest on scene and transported to HTPD for processing. Shukis was ultimately turned over to the custody of Monroe Township Police Officers. The matter will be heard in Municipal Court.

Accused Address: Division Street Trenton, NJ 08611 
Charges: Contempt of Court 

Details: On January 2, 2024 at approximately 5:10 PM Officer Pauciullo conducted a motor vehicle stop on a Route 579 on a grey Jeep Wrangler for a motor vehicle infraction. Officer Pauciullo made contact with the driver, identified as Edin Limaylima, who was found to have an active NCIC warrant for his arrest. Limaylima was placed under arrest on scene and transported to HTPD for processing. Limaylima was later transported to Mercer County Correctional Center and lodged in default. The matter will be heard in Superior Court.

Type of Incident: Fraud / Theft 
Investigating Officer: Blake DeMeter 

Details: On January 3, 2024 Officer DeMeter met with the victim of fraud in the HTPD lobby. The victim reported that he received a call from his credit union stating there was suspicious activity on the account. The representative explained that a $2,000 transaction occurred on the account and the victim was unaware and advised that it was unauthorized. The details of the transaction were provided to Officer DeMeter for follow-up. The incident is under investigation.

Date: 1/5/2024     Time: 11:15AM.    Jurisdiction – Hopewell Township 

Type of Incident: Fraud 
Investigating Officer: Jonathan Pauciullo 

Details: On January 5, 2024 Officer Pauciullo met with the victim of fraud in the HTPD lobby. The victim reported that airline tickets were purchased using his account and credit card information. The total value of the tickets was reported as $516.00. The subject also used the victim’s 17,500 airline points during the purchase. The investigation is ongoing.

Details: On January 8, 2023 Officer Hoffman conducted a motor vehicle stop on a white box truck on Route 579 for a motor vehicle infraction. Officer Hoffman made contact with the driver, identified as Courtney Asberry, who was found to have an active NCIC Warrant for his arrest out of Union Township. Asberry was arrested on scene and transported to HTPD for processing. Asberry was later turned over to Union Township Police. The matter will be heard in Superior Court.
