Item 1 

Date: 1/12/2024     Time: 9:29 AM     Jurisdiction- Hopewell Borough 

Type of Incident: Burglary 
Investigating Officer: Christopher Vaccarino 

Details: On January 12, 2024 Officer Vaccarino responded to Antimo’s Italian Kitchen for a reported burglary. The victim reported that an unknown subject forced entry into the business and attempted to gain entry to a safe inside, however the suspect was unsuccessful and nothing was taken. The incident took place during the overnight hours between January 11th and January 12th

During the same timeframe, the suspect also attempted to gain entry into Michael’s Deli using a crowbar on a rear entry door. The suspect was unsuccessful at gaining entry and nothing was taken from the business. 

The investigation of both incidents is active and ongoing.

Date: 1/17/2024     Time: 12:54 PM     Jurisdiction – Hopewell Borough 

Type of Incident: Fraud / Theft 
Investigating: James Hoffman 

Details: On January 17, 2024 Officer Hoffman responded to an East Broad Street address for a reported check fraud. Upon arrival, Officer Hoffman made contact with the victim who reported that their personal check was altered and cashed. The check was originally mailed for payment of a bill for the victim’s business. However, the billing company never received the check in question. The victim’s check was found to have been altered and cashed by an unknown party. The victim suffered a loss of $35,009.00. The investigation is ongoing.

Type of Incident: Burglary 
Investigating Officer: Jonathan Pauciullo 

Details: On January 11, 2024 Officer Pauciullo responded to First Presbyterian Church on River Drive for a reported burglary. Officer Pauciullo met with the reporting party who stated that an unidentified male entered the building prior to officer arrival on scene and stole miscellaneous items. A value on the items taken could not be reported at the time. The incident is under investigation. 


Item 4 

Date: 1/11/2024     Time: 3:12 PM     Jurisdiction – Hopewell Township 

Type of Incident: Identity Theft / Fraud 
Investigating/Arresting Officer: Paul Alvaro 

Details: On January 11, 2024 Officer Alvaro met with the victim of fraud in the HTPD lobby. The victim stated that they were contacted American Express in regards to suspected fraudulent activity on their account, as an unidentified party attempted to transfer $10,000.00 from the victim’s account. The account was flagged and no loss of funds was incurred. The investigation is ongoing.

Investigating: Arthur Juba 

Details: On January 11, 2024 Officer Juba responded to a North Route 31 address for a reported theft of a catalytic converter. The victim reported that the catalytic converter from their vehicle was cut and removed during the overnight hours prior. The incident was captured on surveillance and shows two individuals involved in the theft. The incident is under investigation.

Type of Incident: Warrant Arrest 
Accused Name: Erin S Miller 
Accused Address: Mechanics Avenue Trenton, NJ 08638 
Charges: Contempt of Court 

Details: On January 14, 2023 Officer Crincoli conducted a motor vehicle stop on a silver Dodge SUV on Pennington Road for a traffic violation. The driver, identified as Erin Miller, was found to have an active warrant out of Hamilton Township Municipal Court. The subject was advised of the warrant, provided with a new court date, and released on scene due to the amount of the warrant being under the threshold for physical arrest. The matter will be heard in Municipal Court. 


Item 7 

Date: 1/16/2024    Time: 3:10 AM     Jurisdiction – Hopewell Township 

Type of Incident: Burglary 
Investigating Officer: Maria Gavdanovich 

Details: On January 16, 2023 Officer Gavdanovich responded to Bish Sales located on North Route 31 for a criminal mischief and burglary. Upon arrival, Gavdanovich discovered that the glass front door was smashed to gain entry in the business. No items appeared to have been stolen during the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
