Date 2/6/2024     Time: 5:15 PM     Jurisdiction- Hopewell Township

Type of Incident: Theft
Investigating Officer: Maria Gavdanovich

Details: On February 6, 2024 Officer Gavdanovich responded to the AT&T store located on Denow Road for a reported theft. Upon arrival, Gavdanovich made contact with the victim who stated they ordered an iphone, which was delivered to the At&T store. An employee of the store confirmed that the phone did arrive and was stored in a safe inside the store. However, when the victim arrived to pick up the phone, the box was opened the phone was missing. The value of the phone is listed as $1,200.00. The investigation is ongoing.

Details: On February 8, 2024 Officer Pauciullo met with the reporting party of Fraud in the HTPD lobby. The reporting party was an employee of the Gulf Gas Station who explained that a person pulled into the gas station on 2/7/2024 during the afternoon hours. The person passed a fake ten dollar bill for payment of gas and left. The attendant did not realize it was false money until after the fact. The fake money was provided as evidence. No description of the driver could be provided other than they were operating a silver sedan.

Investigating: Jonathan Pauciullo

Details: On February 8, 2024 at 3:25 PM Officer Pauciullo met with the victim of fraud in the HTPD lobby. The victim stated that she was on her home computer when a pop up appeared stating her bank account was compromised. The victim called the number on the screen and was instructed by an unknown party to purchase $23,000 in Bitcoin. She was then instructed to send the Bitcoin to an unknown bank account number online. The victim provided the officer with further information regarding the transaction and the incident is under investigation.

Type of Incident: Burglary
Investigating Officer: Arthur Juba

Details: On February 6, 2024 Officer Juba responded to a Federal City Road address for a reported burglary from a storage yard. Officer Juba was advised by the victim that $1,829.89 in landscaping equipment was stolen from a secured trailer on the property. The incident occurred between February 2nd and February 9th. The items included backpack blowers and hedge trimmers. The investigation is ongoing.

Details: On February 9, 2024 Officer Vaccarino responded to a Brandon Road address for a theft report. The victim reported that a package was stolen from their porch on February 8th between 11:32AM and 2:30PM. The value of the packages stolen was approximately $235.00. The investigation is ongoing.

Investigation Arresting Officer: Blake DeMeter

Accused Name: Jessica Pirolli
Accused Address: Wakefield St Flourtown, PA 19031

Details: On February 10, 2024 at 0159 hours Officer DeMeter stopped to check on a  vehicle that was stopped in the Patriots Crossing parking on Route 29. The driver, identified as Jessica Pirolli, stated she was traveling home but was lost. Officer Demeter made observation of signs of impairment shown by Pirolli. Pirolli performed series of field sobriety tests on scene. After which, she was placed under arrest for DUI. Pirolli was transported to HTPD for processing and later released. The matter will be heard in Municipal Court.

Investigating / Arresting Officer: Robert Halmi

Accused Name: Ykemia Travis
Accused Address: Karl Suess Drive Hamilton, NJ 08609
Charges: Contempt of Court

Details: On February 13, 2024 Officer Halmi was advised by Hopewell Township Municipal Court staff of a person in court with active warrants for her arrest. The person was identified as a Ykemia Travis who had several warrants for her arrest out of Lawrence Township Municipal Court. Officer Halmi made contact with Travis inside the court and made notification of the warrants. Travis was placed under arrest an escorted to police headquarters for processing. Once complete, Travis was turned over the Lawrence Township Police on default of bail. The matter will be heard in Municipal Court.

Accused Name: Vladimir Momperousse
Accused Address: Morten Street Camden, NJ 08012
Charges: Contempt of Court

Details: On February 13, 2023 Officer Finnegan conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 579 near Church Road on a white Chevrolet Express van for a speeding violation. The driver, later identified as Vladimir Momperousse was found to have an active arrest warrant out of Cherry Hill Township. Momperousse was arrested on scene and transported to HTPD for processing. Upon completion, he was released on his own recognizance with a new court date. The matter will be heard in Municipal Court.

Date: 2/15/2024     Time: 11:09 PM     Jurisdiction – Hopewell Township

Type of Incident: Burglary
Investigating Officer: Arthur Juba

Details: On February 15, 2024 Officer Juba responded to a Harbourton Rocktown address for a reported burglary. It should be noted that the home is unoccupied. The victim reported that the residence was entered and copper piping was stolen from inside the walls of the residence. The walls were cut and the copper pipes were cut and removed. The approximate value of the stolen copper was approximately $919.40. The timeframe for the incident was between February 9 and February 16. The incident is under investigation.

Investigating Officer: Ryan Finnegan

Details: On February 16, 2024 Officer Finnegan responded to a Woodmere Way address for a reported burglary. The victim reported that an unknown party entered their garage and subsequently entered multiple cars in the garage. The victim reported that the only item missing was their garage door opener, valued at $40.00. The investigation is ongoing.

Date: 2/16/2024     Time: 1:08 PM     Jurisdiction – Hopewell Township

Type of Incident: Shoplifting
Investigating Officer: Ryan Finnegan

Details: On February 16, 2024 Officer Finnegan responded to the Stop & Shop for a reported shoplifting. Loss prevention reported that an unidentified female shopper stole $730.00 in baby formula from the store. The subject is seen on surveillance taking the items and loading them into a large laundry bag, then leaving the store without payment. The investigation is ongoing.

Date: 2/20/2024     Time: 2:00 PM     Jurisdiction – Hopewell Township

Type of Incident: Update on Baker Way Vehicle Burglary (1-5-2024)
Investigating Officer: Detective Michael Makwinski

Details: On February 16th, 2024 Detective Makwinski was contacted by NYPD who advised they located one of the vehicles stolen from Baker Way on 1-5-2024 during the home invasion style vehicle burglary / theft. The vehicle was found near the Upper West Side of Manhattan. The vehicle was processed by detectives of HTPD. The investigation remains ongoing. More information to follow as it becomes available.
