Investigating/Arresting Officer: Michael Enriquez
Charges: Shoplifting
Details: On February 19, 2024 Officer Enriquez responded to the Stop&Shop on Denow Road for a reported Shoplifting. Officer DeMeter was the first to arrive on location and made identification of the suspect who was found in front of the Starbucks in the same plaza. Determination was made on scene through surveillance footage that the subject, Andres Garcia, had entered the Stop&Shop and stole $491.09 worth of merchandise. The items were returned to the store. Garcia was arrested on scene and transported to HTPD for processing. Garcia was charged with Shoplifting and was later released. The matter will be heard in Superior Court.

Type of Incident: Vehicle Burglary / Theft

Details: On February 19, 2024 at 5:59PM Officer Juba met with the victim of theft and vehicle burglary in the HTPD lobby. The victim reported that they parked in the parking lot of Mercer Meadows located on Blackwell Road to walk the trails. She left her vehicle at 4:15 PM and when she returned to her vehicle (a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta) at 5:00 PM, she found that the driver’s side window was smashed and belongings were taken from inside. The victim reported $310.79 worth of items were stolen, including her wallet, cash, keyfob, and credit cards. The investigation is ongoing.

Accused Name: Sarah Pell-Stires
Accused Address: Rosedale Road Princeton, NJ 08540
Investigating/Arresting Officer: James Hoffman
Charges: DUI
Details: On February 20, 2024 at 4:52 hours police units were dispatched to Dunwald lane for a reported single car motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the driver, later identified as Sarah Pell-Stires. Due to signs of intoxication observed on scene, Officer Hoffman conducted field sobriety testing on Pell-Stires. After the testing was complete, Pell-Stires was placed under arrest and transported to HTPD for processing. Pell-Stires was charged with DUI, Reckless Driving, Failure to Maintain Lane. Pell-Stires was released from custody after processing was complete. The matter will be heard in Municipal Court.

Type of Incident: Burglary / Vehicle Theft

Details: On February 23, 2024 Officers responded to Hart Court for a reported residential and vehicle burglary. The residents of the home were out of state at the time of the theft, but were alerted by home security to movement in the residence. They found on surveillance that suspects entered the home through a first floor window, retrieved a vehicle key fob from inside, and stole a BMW X3M from inside the garage of the residence. Type of Incident: Criminal Trespass
Accused Name: Jessie Smith
Accused Address Denow Road Pennington, NJ 08534
Investigating/Arresting Officer: Blake DeMeter
Charges: Criminal Trespass
Details: On February 24, 2024 Officer DeMeter responded to 700 Denow Road for a reported Trespassing. The subject was identified as Jessie Smith, who previously was notified by the property manager and law enforcement to no longer return to the property after he was found to be knocking on numerous windows in the complex, causing alarm and repetitive disruption to the residents. On this date, it was reported and confirmed that Smith was on the property again after formal notification. Subsequently, Smith was located and arrested for Criminal Trespass. Smith was transported to HTPD for processing and was later released. The matter will be heard in Municipal Court.
Note: The same subject was arrested on 2/28/2024 again for trespassing at the same location.

Accused Name: Daquiel Rivera
Accused Address: Kingsbury Square Trenton, NJ 08611
Charges: Aggravated Assault
Details: On February 24, 2024 Officer Enriquez responded to Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell Campus for a reported assault on Staff by a party at the hospital. Upon arrival, Enriquez made contact with the victim who stated the accused, Daquiel Rivera spit on her and another staff member. Rivera was also found to have an active NCIC warrant for his arrest. Rivera was arrested and charged with assault and transported to Mercer County Correctional Center on the NCIC Warrant. The matter will be heard in Superior Court.

Type of Incident: Shoplifting

Details: On February 26, 2024 Officer Stanton responded to Stop&Shop on Denow Road for a reported Shoplifting. Loss prevention reported that on February 25th @ 6:05PM an unidentified male stole $379.29 worth of seafood from the store without payment. The incident is under investigation.

Details: On March 2, 2024 Officer Enriquez responded to the Stop & Shop for a reported Shoplifting. Loss prevention reported that on the same date at 5:45 PM an unidentified female stole $111.03 in various items from the store. Footage of the suspect and the vehicle in which she left in was supplied to officers on scene. The investigation is ongoing.

Accused Name: Oscar Inestrozapalacios
Accused Address: Ridgedale Ave Morristown, NJ 07960
Investigating / Arresting Officer: Michael Enriquez
Details: On March 3, 2024 Officer Enriquez came to the scene of a motor vehicle stop conducted by Officer Zagacki. The motor vehicle stop was for a traffic violation on Harbourton Rocktown Road. The driver, Oscar Inestrozapalacios, was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Kenilworth Borough Municipal Court for $650.00. Oscar Inestrozapalacios was arrested on scene and transported to HTPD for processing. He was later released on his own recognizance and provided with a new court date. The matter will be heard in Municipal Court.
